Equipping our children with the skills and confidence to cycle on today’s roads

We firmly believe ALL children should be able to learn how to ride a bike and learn how to swim completely free of charge! We can help with the cycling part. And we also believe that if we want to promote sustainable travel and healthy lifestyles, then we shouldn’t put up barriers for young people! That is why we genuinely believe that as a project, we are one of the only providers of Bikeability in the UK who do not charge schools or families for this valuable training.

Bikeability is a cycle training program designed to help children and others develop their cycling skills. The program offers three levels of training: Level 1 focuses on balance, while Levels 2 and 3 teach more advanced skills for confident road cycling. Bikeability courses are designed to be fun, supportive, and trusted, providing vital skills that last a lifetime. Cycle training boosts confidence, physical health, and emotional well-being, preparing participants for commuting, family rides, fitness, and social activities. The program also emphasizes the importance of cycle maintenance, proper bike fit, and appropriate clothing for a safe and enjoyable cycling experience.

We are proud to have been selected to deliver Bikeability training to the schools in the Canterbury and Herne Bay area. We have an incredible team of instructors that help us deliver the cycling skills for free to as many children as possible.
